Starting in about 30 minutes Rene Barsalo, of Society for Arts and Technology in Montreal, will present on impact of communication technology on our cultural DNA. Later in the day, MaryFriend Shepard will present on some of the strategies and best practices for successful online teaching and learning at the university level, as well as the challenges that are faced in this arena. Jay Cross, author of the recently published book Informal Learning, will present on participatory education.
