|[ Ya*xTuT'L'P0You are now part of a cohort of professionals, who will spend the next few weeks together exploring the field of Educational Technology. We promise you, these are going to be interesting weeks for you! It is our goal to make this learning experience as interesting and valuable as possible. On the other hand, we expect you to actively participate in and contribute to our community of practice.
yS{&?~+CeNN a B04}S-? AbT1s#T&^ a[0EDTEC 572 is an intermediate course in Educational Technology. This course will enable you to apply the instructional design processes to prepare a program of systematically designed, aesthetically pleasing and wholly usable instructor-led, media-enhanced lessons. Your final project will be a fully-designed unit of instruction (2 hours of instruction), complete with instructor and assessment materials. You will be incorporating pre-existing materials in your design. It will be presented as an instructional package, and can take many forms. In addition, we'll sample the new and emerging technologies and delivery systems, and discuss how these technologies can be used effectively in teaching and training. This course will also help you produce significant artifacts that can be included in your professional portfolio or any other similar professional development archives.
