• GN:I am working in Head Start Program here in theIsland, and working as a Family Service Worker/Social Worker.My expectation for this class is to learn for skills and methods for how to teach or deal with children/students.
• Melan:I love being working with children and my goal is to gain knowledge and skills as much from all the SDSU courses to help me become a teacher someday.
• OJ:to acquire all the skills, knowledge, and methods that will help improve my teaching styles for the up-coming school year.
• S:I expect that by the end of this course, I should be able to incorporate the use of technology into my teaching lectures and be able to find materials appropriate to my field of teaching.
• D:My goal is to improve my technolgical knowledge and skills so that I can use them to improve my teachings.It makes me feel good that I have an opportunity to make a difference in someone else’s life.
• R:Seeing big difference on Palauan children won't change my mind or make me put blame on the technology, but gives me desire to learn more of how to teach young children to learn other ways that may benefit them and our islands and would not destroy Palauan Cultures.
• MayBelle (好听的名字):At the end of this class, I would like to be able to integrate technology with my teaching to make it easier and more understanding for students. At the same time I would like to be able to get help or find materials that are appropriate for my teaching career.
• Tom:to learn more on how to use the Internet and to be able to collect appropriate materials to enhance my teaching strategies.
• Linda: to design and create instructional materials professionally to help teachers enhance student learning in my school as well as the community.
• Lucia:I wish to get involve with our local language and how it affect our students ability to acquire other content areas.I got into this profession because there were no other opportunities available for me and I have loved and enjoyed it.
• Meyar 教育管理, 但觉得自己必须从基层学起:Although my professional goal is predominantly on the administration part of Education, I truly believe that in order to achieve it, I must learn and experience the basic principles that makeup the framework of our educational system. Moreover, I believe that technology plays a great role in education therefore; I am looking forward to exploring and adapting new ideas from this class that will help provide me with another great foundation for my future career.
• Kate:I look forward to this class because technology will not wait for us to accept or reject it. There are advancements every second and we must learn to embrace them. We find discomfort in technology only when we do not fully understand it, but if we learn more about it, the better it will assist us in our teachings.
